September 2002
Have you ever tried to describe an FMCA international motorhome extravaganza to someone who has never been to one? Perhaps you said that it’s a big family gathering, an opportunity to attend seminars and entertainment, and an RV show, all rolled into one. But even as your friend nodded, you still wondered if he or she really comprehended the scope of the RV exhibits. “Imagine what seems like miles of new motorhomes,” you added, “and aisles upon aisles of booths filled with merchandise.”
The following list of exhibitors that plan to be at the association’s Motor “Home On The Range” extravanza October 1, 2, and 3 in Hutchinson, Kansas, also helps to describe the shopping experiences that will be available. As of this writing, nearly 300 companies — including motorhome manufacturers and purveyors of RV-related merchandise — were planning to convene in Hutchinson. They’ll be found in indoor and outdoor exhibits from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1; Wednesday, October 2; and Thursday, October 3. As an added bonus, a special motorhome preview will take place on Monday, September 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During those hours, coaches in the outdoor exhibit area will be open for touring, enabling everyone to begin their extravaganza fun a bit early.
