Directions to Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter

Parking for FMCA’s 77th International Convention will commence on Saturday,March 17, at 7:00 a.m. Please display your admittance card on the front windshield,lower left-hand corner of the passenger side.

The Holding Area will open on Friday,March 16, and is located via Elko and Starbuck roads. Please go to the Holding Area if you wish to meet and park with friends; if your credentials are being held at Will Call; if you arrive before or after the date on your admittance card; or if you are not pre-registered for the convention.

The routes outlined here have been coordinated with local police to provide for the safety of conventiongoers and to minimize traffic tie-ups as much as possible. FMCA has been advised to avoid travel during rush hour. Your cooperation is very important and is appreciated by everyone.

Advance Crews, Past National Officers, Committee Members


From Florida (or the south):
Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn right and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right into the east entrance, and proceed through the East Gate. Turn left immediately inside the East Gate, and proceed to the campground located on the south side of the horse barn.

From Atlanta (or the north): Travel south on I-75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn left and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right into the east entrance, and proceed through the East Gate. Turn left immediately inside the East Gate, and proceed to the campground located on the south side of the horse barn.


Governing Board

From Florida (or the south):
Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn right on South Perry Parkway, merge into the left-hand lane, and turn left on Hay Road (south entrance to GNFA). Follow the signs to enter the appropriate parking area.

From Atlanta (or the north): Travel south on I-75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn left on South Perry Parkway, merge into the left-hand lane, and turn left on Hay Road (south entrance to GNFA). Follow the signs to enter the appropriate parking area.


Family Parking (General)

From Florida (or the south): Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn right and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance and the east entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right on Elko Road. Turn right on Starbuck Road. Follow the signs to the Holding Area.

From Atlanta (or the north):
Travel south on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn left and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance and the east entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right on Elko Road. Turn right on Starbuck Road. Follow the signs to the Holding Area.


Family Parking (Full Generator and Non-Generator)

From Florida (or the south): Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn right and proceed east on South Perry Parkway. Go past the south entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn left at the southeast entrance. Follow the signs to the Full Generator or the Non-Generator lot.

From Atlanta (or the north): Travel south on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn left and proceed east on South Perry Parkway. Go past the south entrance. Turn left at the southeast entrance. Follow the signs to the Full Generator or the Non-Generator lot.


Family Parking (Electric)

From Florida (or the south): Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn right and proceed east on South Perry Parkway. Turn left on Elko Road. Entrance to the Family Electric lot will be on your left at RV Terrace.

From Atlanta (or the north): Travel south on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn left and proceed east on South Perry Parkway. Turn left on Elko Road. Entrance to the Family Electric lot will be on your left at RV Terrace.


Volunteers

From Florida (or the south): Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn right and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right into the east entrance. Turn right onto the first blacktop road inside the fairgrounds.

From Atlanta (or the north):
Travel south on I-75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn left and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Go past the north entrance of the fairgrounds. Turn right into the east entrance. Turn right onto the first blacktop road inside the fairgrounds.


Handicapped Electric & Non-Electric

From Florida (or the south):
Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn right and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Turn right into the north entrance of the fairgrounds.

From Atlanta (or the north): Travel south on I-75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn left and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Turn right into the north entrance of the fairgrounds.


Caravans

From Florida (or the south):
Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 134 (South Perry Parkway exit). Turn right on South Perry Parkway, merge into the left-hand lane, and turn left on Hay Road (south entrance to GNFA). Follow the signs to enter the parking area.

From Atlanta (or the north):
Travel south on I-75 and take exit 138 (Thompson Road exit). Turn left (east) at end of exit ramp. You are now on Perry Parkway. Proceed 4.3 miles to the end of Perry Parkway. Turn left onto US 341 toward Hayneville. Continue on US 341 for 6.2 miles and turn right on State Route 224 West (Larry Walker Parkway). Continue on Larry Walker Parkway for 6.5 miles. Turn left on South Perry Parkway. Turn right on Hay Road (south entrance to GNFA) and follow the signs to enter the parking area.


Exhibitors

From Florida (or the south): Travel north on Interstate 75 and take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn right and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Turn right onto General Courtney Hodges Boulevard. Turn left into the west entrance of the fairgrounds. Follow signs to exhibitor registration at Miller-Murphy- Howard Building.

From Atlanta (or the north):
Travel south on I-75 and take exit 134 (Larry Walker Parkway). Turn left and proceed east on Larry Walker Parkway. Turn right onto General Courtney Hodges Boulevard. Turn left into the west entrance of the fairgrounds. Follow signs to exhibitor registration at Miller-Murphy-Howard Building.


Public Gate & Passport Cars

Public and passport car parking for the convention will be located at the west entrance of the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter. Public and passport will be directed to take exit 135 (Larry Walker Parkway), go south on General Courtney Hodges Boulevard and follow signs to the West Gate public parking.
