NeXus RV Sets Open House Dates
NeXus RV, C12206 (FMCA commercial member), a new motorhome manufacturer that offers direct sales to consumers, will hold an open house at its facility in Elkhart, Indiana, from June 20 through 30, 2011. During this time, motorhome enthusiasts are invited to visit the company’s headquarters, which includes 86,000 square feet of manufacturing space and a 25,000-square-foot climate-controlled indoor showroom. Those interested in purchasing a new Type B+ Viper or Type C Phantom motorhome from the company can save an additional $2,000 during these dates. All units are manufactured to driver specifications and built utilizing the company’s Pillar of Strength all-steel-cage construction.
NeXus RV was formed by lifelong friends Claude Donati and David Middleton, who agreed upon the concept of building and selling motorhomes on the same campus. They believed that it was the best way to eliminate waste in the selling process and to deliver high-quality, exclusively built motorized product direct to the retail customer, saving thousands of dollars in the process.
The company’s On Demand Video Studio enables prospective buyers to participate in a real-time walk-through of a Viper or Phantom motorhome, including a question-and-answer period. NeXus RV also offers an exclusive Fly & Drive program, paying a customer’s airfare to an airport near Elkhart if he or she purchases a new motorhome and drives it off the company’s lot.
For more information about the company and its motorhome lineup, visit www.nexusrv.com. Those interested in attending the open house should RSVP by calling (574) 970-0848 or register online to receive a free gift upon arrival.
The North Face And The National Park Foundation Team Up To Support National Parks
The North Face, maker of apparel and equipment for outdoor enthusiasts, and the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, announced their participation in the launch of Facebook Deals. The North Face will donate $1 to the National Park Foundation for every individual who “checks in” at one of America’s nearly 400 national parks or a The North Face retail location via Facebook.
Intended to get more people outside and to give back to America’s 394 national parks, the campaign will continue for one year and is expected to result in a donation of up to $150,000 to the National Park Foundation. This collaborative effort was one of the first in the launch of Facebook Deals, a feature introduced by Facebook this past November that gives people the ability to find interesting and valuable offers in their community.
The potential $150,000 raised will go to support Foundation programs ranging from educating youth about our national parks, including topics such as climate change, to supporting national parks as they reach out to the diverse and underserved communities around them.
Users can search for specific national park locations or The North Face retail store near them using the latest version of the Facebook for iPhone app or by visiting touch.facebook.com from their HTML5-enabled mobile device.
