Ozarks RV Resort on Table Rock Lake, C12710, in Oak Grove, Arkansas, is inviting FMCA members to visit at reduced rates. Developed into a first-class resort by Outdoor Resorts of America (ORA), the property has been owned and operated by its homeowners’ association since July 2012.
Ozarks RV Resort encompasses 95 acres. It features 164 lots with full hookups and concrete pads that offer a view of Table Rock Lake. Most of the sites are landscaped. Options include pull-in or back-in lakefront or lake-view sites. All except five sites are privately owned, and in addition to rentals, resales are available.
Along with enjoying the tranquility of the resort, visitors can play golf on the 9-hole par-3 course; swim in one of two pools; or try their hand at pickle ball or tennis. Entegra Coach Celebrates Manufacturing Milestone
The management and staff of Entegra Coach, a division of Jayco Inc., recently commemorated the production of the company’s 1,000th motorhome with a division-wide celebration at its manufacturing facility in Middlebury, Indiana.
Employees took time off to hear from executives, including Wilbur Bontrager, chairman of the board; Derald Bontrager, CEO; and John Ganyard, general manager and vice president of the motorized division. The employees enjoyed a catered lunch after the speeches were finished.
“The celebration was a success,” Mr. Ganyard said. “We were able to congratulate all of the members of our Entegra Coach team for reaching this milestone and encourage them to keep up the great work. Jayco established Entegra Coach in 2009 as its flagship motorhome division, and today we have more than 150 employees. We think it’s important that we make it clear to all of them: they each play an important role in our success.”
Data from Statistical Surveys Inc. showed a 28 percent rise in year-over-year sales during May 2013 for Entegra Coach. Due to this growing demand for its motorhomes, Entegra Coach completed a 77,752-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing facility in July 2013. The assembly line has fully moved into the new facilities and is producing more motorhomes per week than at any time in the company’s history.

Thor Announces Expansion Plans
Thor Industries Inc. announced expansion plans to support the ongoing growth of its businesses. Thor Wakarusa LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thor Industries, purchased the recreation vehicle production campus in Wakarusa, Indiana, that formerly was operated by Navistar International Corporation. The land and production facilities, including certain related equipment, are being purchased from a company owned by New York-based American Industrial Partners.
The facility contains nearly 1 million square feet of production space located on more than 150 acres in Wakarusa. The complex includes more than 35 RV paint booths. Initially, Thor plans to use the facilities for motorized production to enable Thor Motor Coach to meet current and expected demand, and to integrate paint operations through a facility operated by Thor’s Keystone subsidiary. The site includes space for additional production as well if needed.

Newmar Corporation Partners With RVSEF
The Recreation Vehicle Safety & Education Foundation (RVSEF) recently announced a partnership agreement with Newmar Corporation that will benefit anyone who purchases a Newmar motorhome equipped with air brakes in 2013. A copy of the RVSEF DVD “Understanding and Testing Your Motorhome Air Brakes” will be delivered to each coach owner. The high-definition DVD is applicable to virtually any motorhome equipped with air brakes.
According to Walter Cannon, executive director of RVSEF, the DVD details the skills RV owners need to safely operate and test their motorhome’s air brake system and provides viewers with the information required to pass the air brake safety test. Some states mandate RV owners with air-brake-equipped coaches to possess an “air brake endorsement” on their driver’s license.
The “Understanding and Testing Your Motorhome Air Brakes” DVD is available to any interested RV owner. To order, visit the RVSEF Web site at www.rvsafety.com or call (321) 453-7673.
