February 1, 2015

February 2015

Jane Key, L23527, wife of former Rocky Mountain Area national vice president Perry Key, died on November 8, 2014.

Jane was married to Perry for 76 of her 96 years. They were rarely apart.

Perry was national vice president, Rocky Mountain Area, from 1986 to 1989. He served on the Membership/Member Services Committee from 1986 to 1989 and on what was then known as the Legislative Advisory Committee from 1982 to 1999.

Jane was born in Madison, Indiana, and grew up in the Hoosier State. She and Perry moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1949. The couple joined FMCA in 1976 and became members of the Chaparral chapter. They traveled throughout the United States in their motorhome, logging more than 150,000 miles. They visited every state except Hawaii and Minnesota.

Jane is survived by Perry and their four children; a sister; a brother; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
