An Alpine Coach NorCal chapter rally took an especially festive turn when hosts Les Kloppenburg and Genene Barrel invited chapter members to attend their wedding ceremony on the Sunday of the rally. The rally, co-hosted by Sandy and Jim Handy, brought FMCA members in 17 motorhomes to Flag City RV Resort in Lodi, California, from March 31-April 4, 2016. The wedding ceremony took place at Harmony Wynelands in Lodi.

Other rally activities included visits to Old Sacramento; the California State Railroad Museum; and the California Automobile Museum, which featured a display of 1940s and 1950s RVs.

Les and Genene have been together since they met on a cruise ship a few years ago. They travel to rallies on the West Coast in a 2006 Alpine motorhome.

Members of Alpine Coach NorCal congratulate Les and Genene, and wish them all the best.
