Antispill Coaster
Sad but true: Spilled drinks are a major cause of frowny faces. It may happen on a picnic when someone tries to balance a drink on the grass, or at the beach when someone’s drink topples into the sand.
The Great Coaster is designed to prevent such spillage by keeping cans, cups, and bottles — as well as food and snacks — stable on uneven surfaces. The stackable coasters are made of BPA-free polypropylene and are safe for the dishwasher and microwave. They’re available in a variety of colors. A pack of six costs $12.

Cookware Protectors
RVers usually don’t have the luxury of being able to store cooking pans by hanging them. Stacking is more practical, but that can lead to the bottom of one pan scraping against the top of another, damaging the cooking surface.
Range Kleen’s Decorative Cookware Protectors guard against scratches and chips. Each cookware protector has decorative printing that helps to prevent sliding. A set of three includes a 14-inch, a 16-inch, and an 18-inch protector. The cost is $14.99.

Night Vision Device
Humans can’t match the night vision of owls, but we do have the know-how to make devices that allow us to see in the dark. Case in point is the Scout TK thermal night vision camera from Flir Systems.
The water-resistant, pocket-sized device creates a thermal image by detecting invisible heat energy. The result is that users can see people, animals, and objects up to 100 yards away. The Scout TK can capture as many as 1,000 still images as well as four hours of video. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to five hours of operation. The suggested price is $599.

Wireless Tow Light
It’s important that a vehicle being towed behind a motorhome have safe and legal taillights, brake lights, and turn signals. TowMate’s RVHW32 Wireless RV Tow Light package eliminates the need to wire the towed vehicle.
The 32-inch light bar mounts to a towed vehicle with magnets. The tow light is powered by the towed vehicle’s 12-volt receptacle plug. When the motorhome’s turn signals or brakes are applied, the tow light receives a signal from a wireless transmitter that is plugged into the motorhome’s trailer light plug. The RVHW32 has a range of 1,000 feet. The retail price is $325.

My RV Dog Park allows dogs the freedom to move from inside an RV to an outdoor enclosed yard. The product includes a skirt made of double-layered heavy-duty indoor/outdoor material that seals all areas of an RV’s external steps through which a dog could escape. A set comes with mats that zip-tie around the RV steps and remain there; the skirt quickly snaps onto the mats once you reach your destination. The cost is $189.95 for a one-step set; $209.95 for a two-step set; $229.95 for a three-step set.
