Registration is open for Yellowstone Forever, the official education and fundraising partner of the National Park Service in Yellowstone National Park. Expert instructors lead multiday programs that explore in-depth a single topic such as human history, photography, or wildlife. The hope is that visitors will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world’s first national park. Many programs are based at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, on the north side of the Lamar Valley, where students stay in cabins. The nightly rate for a shared cabin is $37. Other programs are held at Yellowstone Forever’s Overlook Field Campus near Gardiner, Montana, just outside the park’s north entrance.
