Wonder FTB Motorhome Makes Debut

Leisure Travel Vans has introduced the Wonder Front Twin Bed (FTB) motorhome for 2018. The twin beds can slide together to form a single bed measuring 64 inches by 76 inches, which is four inches wider than a residential queen-size bed.

The motorhome is built on the Ford Transit cutaway chassis, powered by a 3.2-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel engine. Other highlights of the Wonder FTB include:

  • A lavatory with a 30-inch-by-32-inch enclosed shower and a medicine cabinet.
  • A galley that has a two-door, 6.7-cubic-foot refrigerator/freezer; a microwave; and a Corian solid-surface countertop.
  • A swing-out 28-inch LED television, a Bose Bluetooth sound bar, and a Blu-ray player.
  • Walnut or Modern Rift cabinetry featuring Fenix NTM accent doors and LED lighting throughout.
  • Standard Graphite or White Suede full-body paint.
  • 48 cubic feet of storage space.

Yellowstone Hosts Winter Field Seminars

Registration is open for Yellowstone Forever, the official education and fundraising partner of the National Park Service in Yellowstone National Park. Expert instructors lead multiday programs that explore in-depth a single topic such as human history, photography, or wildlife. The hope is that visitors will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world’s first national park.

Many programs are based at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, on the north side of the Lamar Valley, where students stay in cabins. The nightly rate for a shared cabin is $37. Other programs are held at Yellowstone Forever’s Overlook Field Campus near Gardiner, Montana, just outside the park’s north entrance.
