Meet The Family: August 2018

Meet The Family: August 2018
Nick and Peggy Peterson

Nick and Peggy Peterson, F482755. Answers by Nick.

Occupations: Nick is retired from the Navy and works for a construction consulting firm. Peggy works for an insurance company.

Home: Oviedo, Florida.

RV: 2008 Tiffin Allegro Bus.

Pets: A German shepherd and two cats.

Why an RV? We have been boating for 10 years, and decided to give up water cruising for a land yacht. We would love to see all of the United States and get to know more people. It’s too easy to get into a rhythm and never venture outside of your bubble. We hope the new RV will open many roads to us.

Favorite camping destination: Key West. No other place in the U.S.A. is like it.

Favorite hobby: Scuba diving.

Most challenging activity I’ve tried: Deep-sea fishing. It takes a lot of rigs and knowledge to fish for various species. I never knew a hobby could be so expensive or so complicated.

A famous person I have met: Former football coach and current TV broadcaster Jimmy Johnson.

Among family and friends, I’m famous for: Always having the next meal location picked out. And, of course, my sarcasm.

Best advice I ever got: Never go to bed angry with your wife!
