Blue Water RV’ers chapter members arrived in 17 RVs for a July 13-15, 2018, rally at Holiday Shores RV Resort in Durand, Michigan. Some folks came early, which gave them time to catch up, play cards, and enjoy the Thursday dinner served by Wally and Jan Daniels.

The rally theme — “Lost in the ’50s” — was chosen by hosts Mike and Diane Bradley and Bill and Connie Crawford. In keeping with that theme, several women wore poodle skirts, while a number of men favored white T-shirts with rolled-up sleeves. Highlights included a malt shop and burger menu, a hula-hoop relay, and a sock hop. People posed for pictures with a photo prop that resembled a pink Cadillac. Mike Bradley and Gary Cooper were outstanding soda jerks.
