To determine whether your RV, car, or truck has been recalled, visit the website of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. You also can sign up to receive email notifications of new recalls by visiting www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/nhtsa/subscriptions. The notifications include a list of affected vehicles, as well as links that provide a summary of the problem, the remedy, and how to contact the manufacturer.
