Julie and Bob Bowen

February 2019

Home: Tinley Park, Illinois.

Occupations:
Bob: Business consultant.
Julie: Senior director of a transportation company.

RV: 2002 Itasca Suncruiser.

Pets: Four Maltese dogs.

RVing since: October 2018. As a child, Julie went RVing with her parents.

How I convinced my spouse that buying an RV would be a great adventure:
Julie: I had him watch Robin Williams in the movie RV; Bob is in charge of the black-water tank.

Best RVing experience: Waking up to the sound of birds, and just enjoying nature. We also enjoy the friendly disposition of other campers.

Favorite hobby:
Bob: Scuba diving.
Julie: Golf, and yarn and fabric arts.

Top item on my bucket list:
Julie: Golf in every state while RVing.

Nerdiest thing I do in my spare time:
Bob: Collect pure elements such as gallium, as well as fossils, rocks, and minerals.
