December 1, 2023
Recalls 11/27

The following recalls were issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on November 27, 2023. To search for recalls, investigations, and complaints by vehicle year, make, model, and VIN, visit www.nhtsa.gov/search-safety-issues. NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline is (888) 327-4236.

AIRSTREAM INC.

23V-772: Certain 2019-2024 Interstate 19, Interstate 24, Interstate 24X, Rangeline, and Atlas motorhomes. The Federal Certification Label and Tire Placard may indicate incorrect tire pressure and tire size. Incorrect tire information can result in improperly inflated tires or installing incorrect-size tires, increasing the risk of a crash. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Airstream, (877) 596-6505 or (937) 596-6111, ext. 7401 or 7411.

FOREST RIVER INC.

23V-773: Certain 2024 Coachmen Adrenaline, Apex, Freedom Express, Remote, and Spirit, and Forest River Work and Play travel trailers. The electrical plug blade openings (narrow hot blade and wider neutral blade) may be reversed on one of the two receptacle outlet faces, which can cause outlet failure and increase the risk of a fire. Forest River, (574) 825-6302.

23V-774: Certain 2022-2024 Forester and Sunseeker motorhomes. The park brake signal wire may not be connected to the house battery control center, which can allow the slide room to extend during transit, increasing the risk of a crash. Forest River, (574) 206-7600.

NEWELL COACH CORP.

23V-765: Certain 2024 P50 motor coaches. The low-beam headlights may be installed incorrectly, which can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Newell, (888) 363-9355.

JAYCO INC.

23V-771: Certain 2023-2024 Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL; and Jayco Alante, Precept, and Precept Prestige motorhomes. Corrosion in the Smart Data Link Connector (SDLC) may interfere with the Controller Area Network (CAN) communication, resulting in an inoperative instrument panel and increasing the risk of a crash. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, “Control and Displays,” and 105, “Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems.” Jayco, (800) 283-8267.
