Recalls 6/10/2024

The following recalls were issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on June 10, 2024. To search for recalls, investigations, and complaints by vehicle year, make, model, and VIN, visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline is (888) 327-4236.

FOREST RIVER

24V-386: Certain 2024 Sabre fifth-wheels. The emergency exit window was not installed on the driver’s side of the vehicle. A missing emergency exit window could prevent or delay occupants from exiting in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury. Forest River, (574) 642-2100.

24V-387: Certain 2024 Puma travel trailers. The amber side marker light may not have been installed on one side of the vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Missing side marker lights can reduce visibility of the trailer to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Forest River, (574) 642-0488.

24V-388: Certain 2024 Forest River Rainier, Salem, Stealth Evo, Vibe, and Wildwood travel trailers. The tire may contact the vehicle body due to insufficient clearance, which can cause tire damage and increase the risk of a crash. Forest River, (503) 831-5410.

24V-395: Certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth-wheel trailers. The overcurrent protection from the trailer battery may have been incorrectly routed, allowing the wires to be pulled out of the junction box. A loose wire can cause a short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. Puma, (574) 642-0588; Cedar Creek, (260) 593-4000.

HOST INDUSTRIES

24V-389: Certain 2022-2025 Host Campers Cascade, Everest, Mammoth, Tahoe, and Yukon truck campers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat and increasing the risk of a fire. Host Industries, (541) 330-2328, ext. 5.
