Recalls 3/3/2025

The following recalls were issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on March 3, 2025. To search for recalls, investigations, and complaints by vehicle year, make, model, and VIN, visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline is (888) 327-4236.

FOREST RIVER INC.

25V-111: Certain 2017-2025 Coachmen Catalina and 2020-2025 Forest River Aurora travel trailers. The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) on the federal placard may exceed the safety chain rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 110, “Tire Selection and Rims,” and 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other Than Passenger Cars.” Forest River, (574) 825-4995.

25V-112: Certain 2025 Coachmen Catalina ACAT35FME travel trailers. The towing coupler may be underrated for the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the trailer. An underrated towing coupler can break, allowing the trailer to detach from the towing vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash. Forest River, (574) 825-4995.

GRAND DESIGN RV

25V-119: Certain 2025 Serenova travel trailers. The axle bearing nut may have been improperly tightened, causing the bearings to overheat. Overheated bearings can increase the risk of a fire or cause the tire to detach from the travel trailer, increasing the risk of a crash. Grand Design recall number: 910049. Grand Design, (574) 825-9679.

KEYSTONE RV COMPANY

25V-110: Certain 2024-2025 Outback 330RL travel trailers. The side window was incorrectly labeled as an emergency exit, which can delay passengers from exiting in the event of an emergency and increase the risk of injury. Keystone recall number: 25-462. Keystone, (866) 425-4369.

SHYFT GROUP

25V-114: Certain 2022-2025 Spartan RV Chassis K2 vehicles equipped with Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote fuel filter hose may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash. Shyft Group RV Chassis, (855) 589-9836.
