New Luxury Fifth-Wheel
Dutchmen RV — a Thor Industries company founded in 1988 — introduced the all-new Denali fifth-wheel, calling it a “groundbreaking addition to the luxury RV market.” This iconic brand has been reintroduced for 2025 and brings premium craftsmanship, residential comfort, and cutting-edge technology.

Expansive, reflective windows with square corners give the new Denali fifth-wheel RV a contemporary look — both inside and outside.
Key features of the new Denali include Amish-built custom cherry cabinetry, with a fluted entertainment center that has hidden doors; a matching range hood with a concealed microwave; soffit lighting; and a front wardrobe that acts as a feature wall.
A custom rolling sectional sofa allows for flexible seating and effortless stow-away convenience. A fiberglass shower pan with an integrated surround and backsplash, plus oversized mirrors with inlaid LED lights, give the bathroom a sleek, residential-style appearance.
Comfort and convenience features found in the Denali include a trio of Dometic Omni Chill A/C units plus three Fan-tastic auto-vent fans; large reflective windows with square corners and integrated shades for a sleek, modern look; a residential water manifold system to provide optimal water pressure and efficiency; a zero-floor-ducting heating system with 12-volt tank pads for all-season comfort; and twin power awnings that enhance the outdoor living space.
A company press release touts the superior strength and insulation provided by the Denali’s all-metal baggage door package, a feature typically found only in high-end motorhomes. It also points to the Curt Helux coil-spring pin box, which improves towing stability and performance.

Intellitec Warns Of Counterfeit Battery Disconnects
Intellitec Products, a leader in the development of controls and systems for RVs, issued a warning about dangerous knockoff 100-amp battery disconnects being sold online. The battery disconnects appear very similar to the Intellitec design; reference Intellitec’s trademarked name; and claim to be compatible with, an upgrade to, or a replacement for part number 01-00055-000.
“Intellitec has purchased and tested samples of this product. We found units that did not latch closed and had high-resistance contacts, presenting a serious risk of overheating and fire,” stated Ned Schiff, president of Intellitec Products.
The counterfeit products do not feature the Intellitec name and logo on the cap, have shorter power posts than the genuine product, and are not labeled with USA as the country of origin. Online reviews of these knockoffs mention overheating and melting of the enclosures. Intellitec officials strongly recommend replacing the disconnects only with genuine Intellitec parts, which are readily available through reputable RV dealers.
REV’s New Fleetwood Palisade
REV Recreation Group has unveiled the Fleetwood Palisade, which is positioned as the brand’s top-of-the-line product, a spot that had been claimed by the Discovery LXE. Company officials noted that the new 2025 model attracted considerable attention during the Florida RV SuperShow this past January.

Fleetwood has positioned the all-new 2025 45-foot Palisade as its flagship motorhome, one step above the Discovery LXE.
Like the Discovery LXE, the45-foot Palisade motorhome is built on the Freightliner XCM chassis with the Fleetwood-exclusive Freedom Bridge foundation. It features I-beam construction, designed to provide a more stable ride, and is powered by a 450-horsepower Cummins L9 engine coupled with an Allison 3000 MH six-speed transmission. The Palisade rides on bigger tires (315/80R 22.5L) than the Discovery LXE, and its 150-gallon fuel tank is 50 gallons larger.
Three Palisade floor plans are available: the 45CS, with a spacious walk-in rear wardrobe; the 45DS, with a large rear bath; and the 45FS, a bunkhouse model.

Outdoor Recreation Roundtable Assists Hurricane-Impacted Communities
Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), a coalition of outdoor recreation associations, announced its Rebuilding and Recovery Micro-Grant Program to support outdoor recreation in communities recovering from Hurricane Helene. The program will award $5,000-$10,000 grants to organizations and volunteer groups working to clean up and repair recreation sites impacted by the storm and will help to alleviate the lingering economic burden of recovery efforts felt by local communities in North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.
Since the hurricane, ORR and its members have been working to support recovery efforts and emergency disaster funding to assist local communities in rebuilding and restoring their outdoor spaces.
ORR officials say the organization will continue to shine a spotlight on the impact of outdoor recreation to these communities, their economies, and their cultures, and work with federal, state, and local partners to ensure ongoing attention to their recovery. These grants are made possible through funding from the Richard King Mellon Foundation.
