Hanging Solution
We never could find a handy place to hang wet clothing or other items outside the motorhome, so we purchased an over-the-door hanger rack at Dollar Tree and slipped it over the brace under the slideout.

Editor’s note: Make sure to place a warning near the slideout switch that reads, “Remove hanger before retracting.” If the slideout is retracted with the hanger still attached, the slideout could be damaged.
Laundry Basket Carrier
When loading and unloading our motorhome, I use a laundry basket to transport refrigerated and frozen food. The handles make it easy to carry, and the plastic basket is easy to dry off when the job is finished.

Mat Storage
We are full-timers who hate storing a wet or dirty welcome mat in our compartment when it is time to pack up and move on. Our solution was to purchase an inexpensive, large flat oil pan from the automotive section at Walmart. (It looks like a gigantic cookie sheet.) The oil pan is thin enough to slip right under the storage compartment’s slide-out tray. We put a small strip of Velcro on the edge of the tray closest to the door, and it fastens to a “mate” strip attached to the slide-out tray’s frame. This keeps the pan from sliding around while we drive. Now we just toss the mat onto the pan as we get ready to move on. We occasionally rinse off any dirt that has accumulated on the pan.
