Entegra Coach has announced NHTSA recall 14V466000, which involves certain model-year 2014-2015 Entegra Cornerstone motorhomes manufactured from January 21, 2014, through March 25, 2014, and equipped with certain Villa ABTS driver and passenger seats. The potential number of affected motorhomes is 20.
In the affected vehicles, the seat belt attachment might be incorrect and the seat belt might fray if it rubs along a steel bracket in the seat, reducing the seat belt’s strength. As a result, the seat belt may fail to properly restrain the seat occupant if there is a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Entegra is working with Villa to notify owners. Dealers will inspect the seat and repair it with proper fasteners; inspect the seat belt webbing for fraying; and replace the seat belt assembly, if necessary. For more information about this recall, contact Entegra customer service at (800) 945-4787.

In the affected vehicles, the chassis may have incorrectly machined brake calipers that might leak brake fluid. Brake caliper leaks can cause longer brake pedal travel and longer stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford has notified owners. Ford dealers will inspect the vehicles and replace the affected brake calipers. The repair is expected to take less than half a day; however, due to service scheduling requirements, the service department might need the vehicle longer for a longer period of time.

The serial numbers of the affected microwave ovens are from KG303607951 to KG31600670. The potential number of affected motorhomes is 629.
In the affected vehicles, the microwave ovens might start on their own and begin heating when unattended. If contents are inside, a fire could result.

The potential number of affected motorhomes is 415.
In the affected vehicles, water infiltrating the back of the TriMark keypad at the entrance door might cause corrosion on the keypad’s electrical components. Corrosion from water infiltration could result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire.
Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will add a 5-amp fuse to protect against a short circuit. Also, a remedy to prevent water infiltration is being developed. The recall was expected to begin in September 2014. For more information, contact Jayco customer service at (800) 283-8267.

In the affected vehicles, use of an incorrect adhesive might cause the treads on the entry stairs to come loose. Loose stair treads can cause a person to slip and fall, increasing the risk of injury.
Thor has notified owners, and Thor dealers will reinstall the stair treads with the correct adhesive and additional screws. The repair is expected to take approximately 30 minutes; however, because of service scheduling times, the service department may need the vehicle for a longer period of time.
The recall began in August 2014. For more information about this recall, contact Thor customer service at (877) 500-1020.

In the affected vehicles, the seat belt might be installed incorrectly and the seat belt might fray if it rubs along a steel bracket in the seat, reducing its strength. The weakened seat belt might fail to properly restrain a seat occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Tiffin will notify owners, and Tiffin dealers will inspect the seatbelt installations. Repair, replacement, and reassembly of the seat belt and attachment system will be made as needed. For more information about these recalls, contact Tiffin customer service at (256) 356-8661.

The affected vehicles might be missing a damper plate on the inside air conditioner shroud; the damper plate is designed to prevent disruption of the range flame by air discharge from the roof air conditioner. If the flame is blown out and propane gas continues to flow, an ignition source might ignite the leaking propane, resulting in a fire.
Winnebago will notify owners. Dealers will remove the diverter that is now on the inside air conditioner shroud and replace it with a damper plate. The repair is expected to take approximately 30 minutes. However, because of service scheduling times, the service department may need the vehicle for a longer period of time. The recall was expected to begin in September 2014. For more information about this recall, contact Winnebago customer service at (800) 537-1885.
