Heating Vent Cover
Our motorhome has several metal in-floor heating vents in areas where debris could fall in. It isn’t easy to remove the vent covers or to use a vacuum to remove the debris. One vent is in the kitchen, close to the food prep counter, so falling bits of food are a concern. When the weather is such that the furnace isn’t needed, we cover the vents with a flexible magnetic-backed sheet, like those used for magnetic signs on cars. Blank ones are available and can be cut easily with scissors to the size of the vent openings. When the covers are not in use, we keep them handy by sticking them to a metal trash can.

Kitchen And Bathroom Updates
My motorhome had a mirror backsplash behind the sink, as well as a gold laminate inset on all the counters. To update the coach, I bought 12-inch-by-12-inch sheets of self-sticking tiles from a home-improvement store. When trimmed into strips, the tiles fit perfectly over the gold laminate. I also covered the backsplash mirrors with the tiles. I do not plan to grout, as this looks just fine. It made a huge difference for $89.
