Thor Motor Coach
Recall 17V-239 involves certain model-year 2017 Ace, Hurricane, and Windsport motorhomes manufactured from January 12, 2017, to January 24, 2017. The weight rating labels for the tow hitches indicate a 10,000-pound weight capacity; actual hitch capacity is 8,000 pounds. If loaded to the capacity on the label, the hitch may damage the motorhome or disconnect from the towed vehicle. Thor Motor Coach (TMC) will notify owners and provide corrected labels. The recall was expected to begin June 7, 2017. Contact TMC at (877) 500-1020.
Recall 17V-264 involves certain model-year 2017 Quantum KM24 motorhomes manufactured from January 11, 2017, to March 3, 2017. The power supply wire for the steps was incorrectly attached to a 50-amp circuit breaker instead of to a 20-amp circuit breaker. The breaker may not trip as intended on an overloaded step circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. Thor Motor Coach will notify owners, and dealers will relocate the power wire to the correct breaker. The recall was expected to begin June 7, 2017. Contact TMC at (877) 500-1020.
