Basement Organizer

RV basement organizerSmall items often got lost in my RV’s basement storage compartment. So, I built a platform/storage tray to keep things organized. The tray was made using 1×4 lumber and ½-inch plywood. Frequently used tools are mounted on the side for easy access. The tray bottom is lined with indoor/outdoor carpet to minimize the shifting and sliding of contents. If you make such a platform, be sure its height can clear the RV chassis frame when the compartment is closed. Also, mount the platform in the middle of the cargo tray to ensure the weight is distributed evenly.
