Daimler Trucks North America

21V-209: Certain motorhomes built on 2021 Freightliner Cascadia chassis with an automated manual transmission. A clutch flange failure may cause loose parts to fall into the clutch pressure plate assembly, resulting in clutch disengagement and increasing the risk of a crash. 21V-256: Certain motorhomes built on 2021-2022 Freightliner Custom Chassis XC chassis, and Freightliner Cascadia and Business Class M2 chassis. The steering arm and tie rod bolts may have a defective seam that can fracture, leading to a decrease in steering response or a complete loss of steering control. Daimler Vans USA

21V-235: Certain 2019-2020 Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles (platform 907, VS30) equipped with a “Highline” instrument cluster and entry variant radio or without the infotainment system. The multifunctional display in the instrument cluster may not be adjustable and appear too bright in certain lighting conditions, thus failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements. 21V-241: Certain 2019-2020 Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter 4×4 vehicles (platform 907, VS30). The hydraulic power steering return line hoses may detach and cause hydraulic fluid to leak, resulting in the loss of power steering assist. Daimler recall number: NV3LETULPX. Forest River Inc.

21V-219: Certain 2021 Berkshire Type A motorhomes. The brake lights may not adequately reflect light, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements. Forest River, (574) 522-1368.

21V-236: Certain 2021 Rockwood and Flagstaff fifth-wheels. The pin box may be underrated for the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle, which could cause it to fail and lead to a crash, injury and/or property damage. Forest River, (574) 642-8943.

 

Jayco Inc.

21V-204: Certain 2019-2020 Jayco Alante and Precept Type A motorhomes; Jayco Greyhawk and Redhawk Type C motorhomes; and Entegra Esteem and Odyssey Type C motorhomes equipped with Dometic three-burner cooking stoves. Overtightening the stove’s saddle valve securing bolt may damage the O-ring seal, potentially causing a propane leak and increasing the risk of a fire. Jayco recall number: 9903566. Keystone RV Company

21V-240: Certain 2021 Passport 282QB travel trailers equipped with a rear compartment door. The spare tire is mounted to the rear wall in a way that obstructs the view of the left taillight, increasing the risk of a crash. Keystone recall number: 21-405. Keystone, (866) 425-4369.

21V-247: Certain 2020-2021 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 2760THS, 3250THS, and 3251THS travel trailers. The ramp door fasteners may be installed improperly, causing them to strip and pull out of the frame, leading to an increased risk of personal injury. Keystone recall number: 21-404. 21V-250: Certain 2020-2021 Keystone Bullet 34BIPR travel trailers. The bedroom emergency egress window may have an incorrect crank handle, which may make it difficult to open the window in an emergency. Keystone recall number: 21-407. Keystone, (866) 425-4369.

 

Newmar Corp.

21V-258: Certain 2021 Dutch Star, London Aire, Mountain Aire, New Aire, and Ventana motorhomes. The steering output shaft inside the steering column may be too short and could separate from the steering input shaft, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash. Shyft Group

21V-214: Certain 2021-2022 RVs built on Spartan chassis K1, K2, K3, and K4. The steering output shaft inside the steering column may be too short and could separate from the steering input shaft, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash. 21V-203: Certain 2019-2020 Starcraft Autumn Ridge, GPS, Launch Outfitter, Mossy Oak, and Mossy Oak Lite travel trailers equipped with Dometic three-burner cooking stoves. Tiffin Motorhomes Inc.

21V-193: Certain 2021 Phaeton 40OH and 40IH motorhomes built on Powerglide chassis. The valve stem stabilizer can become loose, allowing the valve stem extender to contact the wheel, resulting in rapid loss of tire pressure. Tiffin recall number: TIF-114. Tiffin (256) 356-8661.

21V-265: Certain 2021 Phaeton motorhomes equipped with a roof-mounted, passenger-side awning. A roof-mounted body panel may have been improperly attached, increasing the risk of detachment while in motion, which could lead to an accident or injury. Tiffin recall number: TIF-115. Winnebago Towables

21V-218: Certain 2020 Minnie travel trailers. The incorrect tire size was printed on the tire and loading information label, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements.
