Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort Under New Management
Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort, an exclusive Type A motorhome resort located in Webster, Florida, 45 miles west of Orlando, is now under the management of Bella Terra Realty Holdings LLC (BTRH). BTRH began managing the property when it was purchased out of bankruptcy in December 2010.
“We spent several months evaluating this opportunity, visiting Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort, and looking carefully at each and every consideration,” said BTRH president and CEO Chuck Smith. “What we found was an exceptional property perfectly positioned to be among the nicest in the nation and one of the top resorts in Florida. This is the ideal project for BTRH, and our team is aggressively working on the immediate needs concerning owner satisfaction, marketing, and sales.”
The initial 215-lot construction phase of Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort was completed in April 2008. Since taking over management of the resort, BTRH has created a marketing and sales campaign armed with planned capital improvements to the property, including landscaping, furnishing the clubhouse, and the construction of 119 phase two lots. More than $500,000 has been spent on clubhouse renovations and landscaping. Through the first three months of 2011, BTHR reported approximately $300,000 in RV lot sales and a 400 percent increase in rental occupancy compared to 2010.
Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort sits on 275 acres and features a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse. The clubhouse includes the Grande Gathering Room, which measures 5,400 square feet; a billiards and cards room; multiple recreation rooms; a full kitchen; and a 2,500-square-foot heated all-season swimming pool. Lot owners also have the option of building a Grande Suite adjacent to their concrete pad. The suites are 12-foot-by-32 foot Key West-style buildings that include a full-size bathroom with a shower, a toilet and sink, ceramic tile floors, double-pane vinyl windows, a PTAC heating and air-conditioning unit, interior painting, and golf cart storage space.
BTRH manages other luxury RV resort communities, including its flagship property, Bella Terra of Gulf Shores in Foley, Alabama.
