Entegra Coach

Recall 16V-745 involves certain model-year 2017 Cornerstone motorhomes manufactured from April 13, 2016, to August 25, 2016. A power steering pump may have an occasional loss of output power, resulting in reduced or intermittent loss of power steering assist. Entegra will notify owners, and Spartan Service Centers will replace the power steering pumps. The recall was expected to begin in October 2016. Contact Entegra at (800) 517-9137.

Recall 16V-761 involves certain model-year 2016-2017 Cornerstone and Anthem motorhomes manufactured from April 7, 2015, to August 18, 2016. The vehicles are equipped with a Tempurpedic Sealy mattress that may burn quickly when on fire. Entegra will notify owners, and dealers will replace the mattress with a Sleep Number mattress. The recall began in November 2016. Contact Entegra at (800) 517-9137.

Forest River Inc.

Recall 16V-732 involves certain model-year 2016-2017 Coachmen Galleria motorhomes manufactured from October 27, 2015, through August 31, 2016. An incorrect “cargo carrying capacity” federal placard indicates two seat-belted locations even though the vehicle has up to five additional designated seating areas, causing the listed cargo capacity to be inaccurate. Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will attach a corrected placard. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Forest River at (574) 825-8628.

Recall 16V-774 involves certain model-year 2017 Dynamax Isata motorhomes, models ISC24FWM, ISC24RWM, ISC35DBD, and ISC36DSD, manufactured from May 19, 2016, to October 19, 2016. The vehicles may be missing a securing cable tie on the rubber grommet for the copper propane line, allowing propane to enter the coach. Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the grommet and install a cable tie, as necessary. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Forest River at (574) 262-3474, extension 203.

Newmar Corporation

Recall 16V-744 involves certain model-year 2012-2017 Canyon Star motorhomes manufactured from September 7, 2011, to September 6, 2016, and equipped with wheelchair lifts. Incorrect bolts may have been used to install the wheelchair lift base; the bolts may break, allowing the lift to move. Newmar will notify owners, and Newmar service facilities will replace the wheelchair lift base mounting bolts. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Newmar at (800) 731-8300.

Recall 16V-756 involves certain model-year 2017 King Aire motorhomes manufactured from January 22, 2016, to October 4, 2016, and equipped with WABCO OnGuard collision mitigation radar. The radar may have been mounted upside down on the front lower bumper, resulting in decreased performance. Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will check the orientation of the radar and correct it if necessary. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Newmar at (800) 731-8300.

Recall 16V-768 involves certain model-year 2017 London Aire, Essex, and King Aire motorhomes manufactured from December 9, 2015, to September 26, 2016. The hydraulic entry step controller may not be functioning as designed and may allow the steps to retract unexpectedly. Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and update the controller software. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Newmar at (800) 731-8300.

Recall 16V-773 involves certain model-year 2017 Dutch Star and Ventana motorhomes manufactured from May 17, 2016, to September 27, 2016. The wardrobe slideout motor may have been installed without a brake, which could allow the slideout to extend unexpectedly. Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the motor and replace it if necessary. The recall was expected to begin in December 2016. Contact Newmar at (800) 731-8300.

REV Recreation Group

Recall 16V-784 involves certain model-year 2015-2016 Holiday Rambler Vacationer motorhomes manufactured from March 12, 2014, through March 18, 2016. A front truss may not be adequately supported at the attachment points, allowing wire harnesses or hydraulic lines routed between the truss and its supporting framework to be pinched or crushed. A damaged wire harness can cause an electrical short; a damaged hydraulic line may leak fluid. REV will notify owners, and dealers will install additional steel to support the front truss. Dealers also will inspect the hydraulic hoses and electrical wiring, relocating them as necessary. The recall was expected to begin in late November 2016. REV’s internal recall ID number is 161018REV. Contact REV at (800) 509-3417.

Spartan Motors USA

Recall 16V-776 involves certain model-year 2017 Spartan Specialty Vehicle K2 and K3 motorhome chassis manufactured from March 24, 2016, to August 31, 2016. Final-stage manufacturers affected are Entegra Coach (183 vehicles); Foretravel Inc. (two vehicles); and Newmar Corporation (60 vehicles). The throttle circuit wires may not have been twisted to cancel out electromagnetic interference; interference may cause the throttle signal to be higher or lower than intended, resulting in unintended deceleration or acceleration. Spartan will notify owners, and dealers will install an overlay harness with twisted wires. The recall was expected to begin in November 2016. Contact Spartan at (800) 543-4277.
