Recall 17V-592 involves certain model-year 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vehicles manufactured from February 4, 2016, to September 29, 2016. The vehicles were manufactured without a driveshaft catch strap, allowing a loose driveshaft to strike the fuel tank, which could result in a fuel leak and increase the risk of a fire. Recall 17V-612 involves certain model-year 2018 Forester motorhomes, model FRC3271SF, manufactured from May 31, 2017, to July 26, 2017. The federal placard may inaccurately state that the vehicle has single rear wheels and tires, but it is equipped with dual rear wheels and tires. Recall 17V-590 involves certain model-year 2016-2017 Greyhawk motorhomes, model 29ME, manufactured from April 13, 2015, to February 27, 2017. The propane line can be damaged by being melted by the vehicle’s exhaust pipe; by contacting the driveshaft; or by being kinked at the p-clamp. Recall 17V-538 involves certain model-year 2018 Holiday Rambler Vesta Type C motorhomes manufactured from June 7, 2017, to August 22, 2017, and Fleetwood Jamboree Type C motorhomes manufactured from June 2, 2017, to August 15, 2017. Wires within the generator junction box may have been improperly stripped before being connected; an electrical short may result, increasing the risk of a fire. Recall 17V-584 involves certain model-year 2013-2015 Fleetwood Bounder motorhomes manufactured from May 4, 2012, to January 29, 2016, and 2013-2016 Fleetwood Southwind motorhomes manufactured from May 10, 2012, to January 29, 2016. The welds attaching the battery tray to the underside of the chassis may be insufficient. REV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the battery tray and install fasteners, if necessary. Recall 17V-555 involves certain model-year 2014-2016 Ace, Challenger, Daybreak, Hurricane, Miramar, Outlaw, Windsport, Palazzo, Tuscany, and Tuscany XTE motorhomes manufactured from December 12, 2012, to March 9, 2016. The windshield wipers may fail due to incorrect installation. Some vehicles in this recall have been remedied under recalls 17V-096 or 17V-162 but may need additional repairs.
