Scotian Roamers members celebrated the chapter’s 20th anniversary with a rally that drew 32 motorhomes to Elm River RV Park in Glenholme, Nova Scotia, from June 9-12, 2016. One could sense this rally was special, starting with the Thursday meet and greet. Everyone was glad to see each other; they enjoyed catching up on the past year and looked forward to sharing the weekend.

Members of the Happy (OK) Wanderers chapter have been happily wandering for 25 years. It has been a memorable journey. An anniversary rally was held April 21-24, 2016, at Durant/Choctaw Casino KOA in Durant, Oklahoma. Members arrived in 42 motorhomes, and a few couples stayed in motels.
The Dogwood chapter was formed by Steve and Judy Czarsty in June 1996 at a seafood festival in Portsmouth, Virginia. Many festival attendees were FMCA members but not involved with a local chapter, so they established a new one and named it Dogwood.

Windshield Repair Along The Alaska HighwayDear Editor:As we were driving on the Alaska Highway this summer, a rock went through a window of our towed car. We were in British Columbia, between Muncho Lake and Tetsa River. I discovered the absence of the window while getting fuel at Tetsa River Lodge.Up until the past few years, October was a month of dwindling days for RVers as the season came to a close across the cold-weather states.
